I was talking to a couple of photographer friends of mine the other day about the hills and valleys of life and how they apply specifically to our profession. In the last couple of weeks, I have been on a definite high and then in the past week my productivity level slowed to a halt!
I’m sure it’s the fact that I have been swamped trying to fit it lots of goodbyes and get all of my belongings ready to be moved. That happened yesterday by the way! All of my stuff is gone! Except for my big beautiful computer, you see. Because I made a last minute decision to priority ship it home so that it’s ready for me when I get there and I can continue to take on clients!
I am so pleased to show you the pictures from this shoot. I worked on them this week. SLOWLY but surely, they have been completed.
These were done as a thank you to my dear friend Kirsten for helping me with redoing my blog and making me those fancy new watermarks. (Including the kickass owl!!)
Otterberg is one of Kirsten’s favorite spots, and let’s be honest, mine as well. She heads out here at least once a week to hang out with me and when we talked about locations, it just seemed like the perfect choice.
These pictures make Germany look like fall already. (or maybe I just tried too hard) Either way, Kirsten and Dana wanted them for potential Christmas cards this year and that can be kind of hard to pull off in August! I think the coats and scarves were precious though and as always, I love hanging out with this couple.
I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend!! I had some last minute change of plans but still made it to a winefest. I will be blogging about it soon!
