Frequently Asked Questions

Do you travel for engagement sessions?

YES! I love traveling and shooting in new places. Just let me know what you have in mind and we’ll plan the trip together. Travel charges may apply, depending on the location and distance from home.

How do we pay for your services?

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon securing your date and reviewing/signing the contract.
The remaining 50% of your balance is due by the event date.

Do I get a print release for my images or do I have to order prints from you?

I believe my clients have the right to own their images so I always include a print release and digital files. There is absolutely no obligation to purchase from me, however I do offer prints and several products and would be happy to provide you with a list of these upon request.

How and when will we get our photos?

About 6-8 weeks from your wedding, you will receive a link to your own private online gallery, from which you may download all edited images included in your collection and choose your favorites for your album if included in your collection. Very soon afterwards, you will receive your custom USB in the mail along with any products your collection includes.

How are the photos chosen?

During the wedding I have a loose “shot list” that I refer to, based on my own experience as a wedding photographer and your timeline and needs. in between creating these images for you, I’ll be looking for artistic, candid images to capture for you as well. When I get home, I will go through everything captured and collect the very best photos to be hand-edited over the next 6 weeks. The number of images chosen is based on your collection. I typically capture between 65 and 100 images per hour of coverage.

Why can't I have all of the images? Can you just give then to us un-edited?

My policy is to only deliver the very best to my clients and I do not deliver unfinished images. My style of image creation is dependent upon my hand-editing process and honestly, the images just don’t look finished until I apply my final touches! That said, I will never EVER keep an awesome image from you for the sake of time or money. I always include the best, even if that means delivering more images than agreed upon.

Do you offer boudoir sessions?

Yes! I love photographing boudoir and it makes a great wedding gift! Contact me to receive a link to my boudoir gallery and session details.
