This post is a few weeks behind, but let me tell you why…
I had the privilege of working with the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, volunteering to take pictures at their annual Egg Roll event. It took me months of ideas, and weeks of preparation to get everything together to make my Easter mini setup just perfect and I really wouldn’t have been able to get it done without Tony’s help.
When Vicky, the coordinator called to invite me out to Bryant Commons, I had never heard of the venue she was referring to. I met her there a day early to scope out the venue and pick out a location that was perfect for my photos. After seeing it for myself, I couldn’t have been more enthused!
Bryan Commons might just be Hinesville’s best kept secret. This location is not only covered in blooming Azalea bushes and dripping with Wisteria, but it’s also got a vintage red barn, and a sweet, little bridge next to a picturesque pond.
I fell in love! It was everything I could dream up to make my job easy as pie! I ended up picking out the blooming Azalea’s as my background but I can’t wait to use this property for more shoots. It would be perfect for an engagement or bridal session, but appropriate for senior and family portraits as well.
Now for the surprise…unless of course you have been on my personal Facebook page recently. While Tony and I were setting up for the event, before ANYONE got there but just right before I needed to start taking photos of little kids for 4 hours….Tony surprised me with a ring and a very important question! HE PROPOSED!
For those of you who have been surprised like that by your significant other, you can understand just how crazy I felt afterwards! I opened an easter egg and to my surprise there was a very sparkly treat inside that made my brain (and my heart) turn to mush. Which explains my lack of blogging! I have had wedding brain ever since…
I can’t wait for my big day but if you have a special event coming up that you need pictures for, please keep me (and this gorgeous location) in mind to share in the fun!!
Congratulations!! That's SO beyond awesome!
Thanks Kaylley! I'm so happy!
