Where I Find Inspiration
When I take photos, I grab inspiration from many different places. Lately I have found that my favorite places to grab some spark from are Flickr, Pinterest, and Tumblr.

Inspiration through Reminiscing
Tonight I decided to go through some of my old pictures. When I say old, I mean OLD. I have so many shoots backed up on external hard drives and although I would like to think that I have grown from the photographer who took some of these shots, I still find that I LOVE them…or maybe just the people in them. <3

Welcome to Flashback Friday
So in saying that, I think I am going to start doing a flashback Friday! Now it’s not exxxxactly Friday yet…(11:56pm Thursday night) but you catch my drift. This week is going to be a set that I took when I was a student in Lubbock at Texas Tech. The model is one of my dear friends, Virginia Tamplen. She doesn’t know these are going up…and she would laugh if she did because she looks completely different!! (We were very fickle with our hair color choices back then!)

Inspiration through Encouragement
Speaking of inspiration, this girl is chalk full! She has always been a prayer warrior for me and one of the first models I ever had the opportunity to shoot. She has been incredibly encouraging throughout my “career” as a photographer and has even snagged me a wedding or two. She is everyone’s best friend and has an incredible personality. You can see her sass in this series and you can only imagine how funny this girl really is. I love her more than words can describe..but I hope that you can see some of my love through the lens, maybe, just a tiny bit.
