What a great start to the weekend! Not only is this a big birthday weekend for me (sister yesterday, bf today) but it’s already been full of fun!
Last night I met up with the ladies from 15 ASOS (Tony’s squadron) for a friday night picnic!
It was the perfect evening for a picnic and the best way possible to wind down from a work-filled week.
I always love meeting more of the spouses and just getting to help out where I can! These women are responsible for taking care of the newbies as well as planning a lot more than you would think! They take care of their men and I am thankful for them!
I ended up going straight from work but I was so grateful for the fresh bread I made last weekend that I could contribute to the picnic. We had lots of goodies including some scrumptious caprese salad kabobs!
I just love picnics and it brought back so many memories from skipping class in the spring during college to enjoying the few warm days during German summers. Overall, I would say last night’s was a success!
